Mastering the art of mixing and matching can be tricky but, certainly, not impossible. When you begin to play with prints and patterns, you’ll quickly discover that some of the best combinations come from “happy accidents”. Others just “click” right away. When done poorly, however, you risk looking like you got dressed in the dark… at a clown’s house. Read More
How is it that we’re in our last days of October and in the middle of a heat wave? Southern California must’ve missed the Fall memo or something because this week has been nuts. Fall is nowhere to be found. Just yesterday we hit a record-breaking, 106-degrees!
In an effort to incorporate a little bit of Fall, into your day, I’ll be sharing a roundup of my favorite Fall boots this season. Not gonna lie, guys, I’ve had my eye on many of these for a couple of weeks now. And if we lived in a perfect world, I would own every pair. Realistically though, we only really need a few good staples, but when they’re this cute and staple-worthy, how can we say no?
What I love most about the boots (and booties) I’m sharing with you is that (1) they come in neutral tones and (2) they’re timeless styles, so there’s versatility in what you can wear them with and how you can style them. Remember: you want versatility and durability.
For this, you’ll want to check out Madewell, Anthropologie, Nordstrom and DSW – they have the best selections! They always carry a wide variety of shoes, of great quality, and at different price points. So while we continue to wait on Fall, I hope you snag yourself a pair of boots to pair with your most treasured jackets, sweaters and everything else that’s warm and oversized!
Happy boot shopping! xx

Rainy days have finally made their way to Orange County and I’m loving every minute of it! Rainy mornings, cloudy days, colder weather and stay-at-home movie date nights; indoor pumpkin carving, hot cocoa sipping and snacks for days. Puffer vests and puffer jackets, fall colors and fall accessories! You name it, Orange County is finally enjoying it all right now!
Last weekend Tony and I made our way to the orchard fields in Oak Glen, and took both of our parents with us! It was their first time meeting so we we’re both excited to pick apples and for our parents to meet! Actually, he was a bit more nervous than anything haha
The first day of September marks the beginning of pumpkin spice everything -everywhere, Fall cups at Starbucks, the first signs of Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations, small breezes in the air and so much more! Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, end-of-season sales, the beginning of Fall clothes in stores, and what’s supposed to be the end of wearing anything white -if you follow the rules, that is.
